Welcomes New Principal
Our Lady of Fatima School in
Wilton
is pleased to welcome Mr. Joseph Carmen as their new school principal.
Mr. Carmen is a graduate of the
United States
Military
Academy
at
West Point
where he received his bachelor’s degree. He then received
his Masters degree in Science Education from Southern Connecticut State
University.
Mr. Carmen served a captain in the United States Army. He
was employed as a site leader for General Electric. Most
recently, Mr. Carmen was a teacher leader in the Bridgeport Public Schools where
he led efforts in school reform and instructional improvement. He
was the recipient of the 2007 Beard Excellence in Teaching Award, one of the
largest teaching awards in the nation, for this work in the Bridgeport Public
Schools.
